These sessions focus on the larger mythos and bigger picture, soul threads of your natal chart. These are 60 minute readings grounded in my decade-plus specialty Evolutionary Astrology (which resources Pluto and the lunar nodes to get a glimpse into the major themes and life of the soul). These readings incorporate other things I've been studying in the last few years, like Hellenistic astrology and numerous minor asteroids (though I scan for the ones that are especially prominent for you). This session will be an EFT (emotional freedom technique) session which is an opportunity to create more space, or to create breakthrough, around a particular issue - whether it be of a more healing nature or creative/ambitious nature. We can work with a block you’d like to shift (a block from moving on, a block from dreaming, etc.) EFT is a gentle but powerful somatic trauma healing technique. I will have looked up your natal chart and transits beforehand for perspective to extra-personalize the session. This session includes a follow-up check-in - you’re invited to let me know how you’re doing afterwards or I will check in on you.

What is EFT/tapping?
Emotional Freedom Technique is a guided somatic practice where you talk through your issues and tap your fingers over a set of points on the body connected to the meridian system. You essentially are guided to create safety and connection in places that have been in a stress or trauma response, and are supported to create new, more supportive pathways.
A few thoughts on “emotional freedom”
Emotions are healthy and vitalizing and connect us to the flow of life. We learn early in life through family and culture (and later through events/traumas) what is safe to feel and we also develop personality mechanisms that help us avoid feeling certain things. These protections are smart and adaptive at first, but later create a variety of limitations and blockages for us. Emotional freedom can mean cultivating the pathways for the energy that emotions are to flow more freely through us so that we can be vitalized by them. Even the things we reasonably don’t want to feel, like grief, open up important and meaningful pathways in our lives. It’s one thing to philosophically know that it’s healing to feel what we avoid feeling, and it’s another to be guided and supported and witnessed in that process.

This is an astrology reading about aliveness in the chart and how we can free, open, and amplify it. To feel alive, authentic, available for life, creatively inspired, erotic, and playful. These are all generally desirable states of being — often on the other side of deeply meaningful setbacks or obstacles.
Our life-force energy is subject to getting suppressed, fractured, frozen, blocked or invested in patterns and addictions/loops — in as much as it can also be freed, cultivated, and reclaimed.
It's a little bit of a labyrinth -- how we defend ourselves from our own life-force and the epic personal journey of bringing it back online. Alongside and outside of astrology, it's one of my favorite things to discover and talk about, which is why I wanted to make an astrology reading all about it.At a personal, embodiment level, freeing up life-force energy & learning how to cultivate, nourish, and invest it more fruitfully, actually expands our agency and opportunities (or in astrology speak, shifts our fortune for the better). It’s not just about waiting for a transit to happen or something to change outside of us. This is an exploration of how we can change the terrain from within - and how our astrology supports it.
In this session, we will work with the asteroid Eros as well as the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) and the houses they are ruling in the chart, as foundations for exploring the energetics and patterns at play in the chart and in your actual experience around deep aliveness and what supports it systemically.
Why the fixed signs? I consider them the most connected to the erotic & for years have been fascinated and reflecting on them in theory and practice.
Taurus relates to sensuality, pleasure, self-worth, habit and homeostasis, how we root ourselves in familiar sensations or open to new ones.
Leo relates to play, spontaneity, creation and our overall fire and zest for life. Having our heart in the game and being willing to play the game.
Scorpio relates to our deepest emotional attachments, attractions and repulsions, and how we fixate emotionally, get into addictive patterns, or transform things at the root.
Aquarius relates to channels of consciousness, our paradigm, our cognitive or nervous system frame, our ability to discover freedom and re-integrate fractured or frozen parts of ourselves back into connection to the whole network and to generally circulate energy freely.
This reading is a focused exploration on these themes, in dialogue, as it plays out in your chart and life.
