WHAT’S THE VISION?
All the archetypes or elements of a natal chart (signs, planets, aspects, etc.) exist on a vast spectrum of possibility. We can experience the lower-end of this spectrum of possibility via our most difficult struggles and patterns. But once we understand the arch of possibility at play, we can transform our challenges or repeating patterns into higher forms of themselves…Like a person in a dim state of realization versus a person glowing and flourishing in their highest excitement and self-actualization. Same person, different experience!
Similarly, no matter how you break it down astrologically (the sign, planet, aspect, house, etc.) there are gradients of realization within the archetypes and therein lies our capacity to both identify problems/things we’d like to improve upon and imagine a better future that is totally within reach.
This is how astrology helps us evolve.

We act like astrology is just something that some people naturally understand but the reality is every skillful astrologer out there has studied with a teacher or mentor. Since its origins, astrology has been a spread-by-transmission art, from teacher to student.
We wouldn’t look at someone doing a complex yoga posture and say, "Wow! I can’t believe they just naturally know how to do that with their body." We are more likely to suspect that that person has studied yoga with someone and practiced.
